Stride into our Backyard ultra

HQ is at Stubb field, Mytholmroyd, HX7 5BS

The event will follow the standard Backyard format, where you will run 4.167 loops on the hour every hour, the last runner is the winner. each loop will be timed, you set off in a clockwise direction, each loop has 436ft of elevation. 24 loops would give you 100 miles.

Rules

failure to complete a lap eliminates you from the event.

A warning whistle will be blown 3, 2 & 1 minute before the start of each loop.

All runners must be at the start area when the bell rings, you are not prohibited to start the loop late.

No pacing or personal aid is allowed on the course during the loop.

Mandatory kit

There is no Mandatory kit list for this event as you will return to camp each loop, however make sure you have enough supplies for every eventuality with you.

we will have gazebos for runners to store their goods as well as our tent with hot food etc.

there will be porta-loos on site.
